Pathways to Success
practical, effective counseling and hypnosis for lasting results

About Marlo Bennett, LMFT
Being a therapist, for me, is a privilege. I have deep respect for you and the trust you place in me.  I've developed a practical way of doing therapy, so you learn information and skills that are helpful in everyday life. Clients often comment "This is the first time I've learned something useful in therapy!"

I became interested in being a counselor in early adolescence. At that time, I decided to change how I approached life. I was shy, wanted to make friends, and become involved in social activities. Being quite young, it was challenging, but I was determined. My new behavior worked, and I developed a more balanced life.

My license lets you know I've met state requirements for education and training. It's not a description of what I do. I work with individuals and couples.  You can read more about How I Work here.

I'm a firm believer in “when I believe it, I’ll see it.” I find visualization and affirmations (positive statements) to be powerful therapeutic tools. My personal experience with these resulted in a year-long leave of absence traveling around-the-world in 1995-96 visiting 15 countries.
